A Basic Introduction to Bella (the Chatbot)

What is Bella?

Bella is the AI assistant at the heart of HumanDesign.ai. She draws on the deep Human Design knowledge already inside leading AI models and can interpret your Bodygraph chart with impressive accuracy. Whether you are brand new to Human Design or an experienced practitioner, Bella provides personalised insights, daily guidance, and in-depth chart analysis.

Why Is She Called Bella?

The name Bella was chosen for its simplicity and warmth, reflecting the chatbot’s intuitive and friendly design. Fun fact: Bella is also named after a former team member who was incredibly efficient. Her legacy lives on, immortalised in this helpful chatbot.

How Does Bella Work?

We did not train Bella on a dataset of our own. She runs on leading AI models that already contain a vast library of Human Design knowledge, including the teachings of Ra Uru Hu. Our specialty is how we present your chart data to those models and how their insights come back to you, and our team continually refines the underlying prompts and chart context to improve accuracy and depth.

Key Features

• Multi-Chart Conversations – Tag up to 4 charts in a single message using the @ mention feature. This lets Bella compare and analyse multiple charts side by side.
• AI Model Selection – Choose from five curated models: ChatGPT 5.6 Luna (the no-cost Auto default), ChatGPT 5.6 Terra, Claude Haiku 4.5, Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Opus 5. Switch models any time from the chat settings.
• Voice Input – Speak your questions using the microphone button instead of typing.
• File Attachments – Upload images (up to 10 MB) or take a photo directly from your device to share with Bella.
• Text-to-Speech – Have Bella read her responses aloud (available on Personal and Pro plans).
• Chart Context – Give Bella background information about your life situation so her answers are more relevant and actionable.
• Session Management – Organise your conversations into sessions that you can rename, archive, search, and delete.
• Clickable Chart – Click any element on your Bodygraph (gates, channels, centres) to instantly ask Bella about it.
• Pro Tools Drawer – Pro users can access live transit data, planetary positions, and relationship analysis directly inside the chat.
• Memory – Bella remembers your conversation history and personal details across sessions for a seamless experience.

Fair Use

Bella chat is generous but not infinite. Free accounts include 10 free questions with Bella on any chart; after those, you can choose a membership or add usage credit and pay as you go. Paid plans include everyday chat with the Auto model, subject to fair use, so we can keep Bella reliable for everyone and prevent automated or abusive usage. Upgrade at any time from the Plans page.

Fair use: Individual includes 125 Auto messages over a rolling seven days, Personal 250 and Pro 500. Past that, chat continues on your usage balance and the chat tells you so. Premium model messages billed from your AI credit or purchased balance never count against it.

Getting Started

1. Log in to your HumanDesign.ai account.
2. Navigate to My Chart or open any chart from your Library.
3. The chat panel appears on the right side of the screen (desktop) or below the chart (mobile).
4. Type a question or click one of the suggested prompts to start chatting with Bella.
