Use HumanDesign.ai inside Claude
You can use HumanDesign.ai directly inside Claude. Once connected, Claude can generate and read Human Design charts in your conversations, using your HumanDesign.ai account.
Connect Claude to HumanDesign.ai
This works in Claude on the web (claude.ai) and in the Claude desktop app:
- In Claude, open Settings and find Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector and enter:
https://mcp.humandesign.ai/ - A browser window will ask you to sign in with your HumanDesign.ai account. Use your normal login, the same one your membership is on.
Claude will show the HumanDesign.ai tools it can use. You can then ask it to generate your chart or help you explore it in conversation.
Using Claude Code
If you work in a terminal with Claude Code, the equivalent is one command:
claude mcp add --transport http human-design-ai https://mcp.humandesign.ai/
Then complete the sign-in when prompted. Run /mcp inside a session if it does not prompt automatically.
What your account unlocks
The connector signs in with your HumanDesign.ai membership. Free and Individual accounts can access their own primary chart. Personal accounts can also access their charts, library, report browsing and account usage. Pro accounts have the full live capability vocabulary. Builder capabilities require separate active Builder access, regardless of plan.
Workspace selection is available on Personal, Pro and Max accounts. It narrows the assistant to that workspace and does not grant extra permission.
Building your own tools instead
The Claude connector is for using HumanDesign.ai inside Claude conversations. If you are building an app, script or custom AI agent, use the developer API instead.
Developer API documentation is at humandesignapi.com. The endpoint reference with live response shapes is at api.humandesign.ai/swagger.
If something looks off
If the sign-in window does not appear, check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups. If Claude connects but shows no tools, disconnect the connector and add it again. If it still misbehaves, contact support with a screenshot of what you see.
